Albert grew up in New Zealand where he was surrounded by the unimaginably beautiful landscape, so there is a degree of irony in his eventually going into the investment banking business, which took him to the most urbanized centres of the world including Hong Kong, New York and now London for the second time.

1. Your healthy habits

I didn’t really know what this meant until I had my cancer diagnosis a couple of years ago. Since then, I have effectively eliminated or significantly cut down on diary, meat, sugar, refined food products such as white flours. I also increased the amount of cardio vascular exercise that I do.

Keeping the stress at bay is a focal point but not always easy in a city like London! Finally I try to get out into the nature as much as I can, whether to reflect or just to take a breather. The English countryside is diverse and beautiful and provides a nice contrast to the urbanity of London.

2. Natural beauty tips

Keeping things simple. Use as few products as possible and stick to organic products where possible. Dr Bronner’s soap series are great. You can use it as shampoo, shower gel, face wash, fabric detergent.

3. A healthy dish you like to cook

Mustard-soy marinade wild salmon with a side of sautéed spinach.

4. How do you unwind and relax after a hectic day ?

Cooking a healthy meal and having friends over to enjoy it with.

5. A few tips

Broadway Market for food and produce and Columbia Flower Markets for flowers and other crafts. In the summer, any one of the parks in London provides a nice retreat from the normally manic pace of the city.

6. A natural remedy

Lemon, honey and ginger to soothe a sore throat. Be sparing on the honey as it can raise your blood sugar.

7. Your guilty pleasure

All things sweet.
