“Loving from the heart”

Love that comes from the heart has no boundaries and needs no reasons. It simply is. True love doesn’t carry pain or sorrow. It creates expansion, a surge of energy and a sensation of peace. It is a state of being and not a state of mind.

When we fall in love, it is a beautiful mental and physical state and, of course, carries many aspects and restrictions of the mind. On the contrary, love from the heart is a constant and permanent state of our being. We only need to learn to open up to it.

The first step in this discovery is to open your heart and feel this love for yourself. For a short period, lets put aside your self judgements and anger and praise yourself for who you are at this present moment. Forget limitations and remorses by encouraging yourself to take steps towards your desires. They might be baby steps, but nevertheless, they will create a positive action towards yourself. Become mindful when you are eating, walking, taking a shower, talking to someone, working…observe how every cell in your body is sustaining you endlessly, day in and day out. Open up to yourself, regardless of age, disabilities, body shape or past experiences.

Give yourself a break by being grateful for every breath and observing the soft and peaceful shift happening inside.
