Stop the Anxiety Loop

Is there a constant basis of anxiety in you? Has it ever become so intense to paralyse you completely? Does it make you feel heavy and tired? Well I have good news for you. Anxiety is just a thought. It can disappear as fas as it has appeared.

Anxiety is a thought process created when we lose our connection to ourselves and our surroundings. When we pay attention to the flow of thoughts and start thinking about them, we start creating a loop. It is this loop that gives our anxiety an impression of reality.

Some simple steps to take a step back and observe this loop are:

  • Create moments of Pause: when we pause, we create detachment from thoughts and realize everything is ok. Literally visualise that you are taking a step back from the event or the thought that is creating your anxiety.
  • Focus on the Breath: when viewing the present moment through each breath we become detached from the event, observers at first.
